Today, we’re thrilled to present to you the first in a series of student art showcases, comprising work produced using a variety of media, by art students from a range of year levels at Burnside High. You can view the artwork in fullscreen by clicking the icon in the top right hand corner of the image gallery below. You can also click the “i” icon in the bottom left corner to see the name of the artist. Many thanks to the art department and student artists for allowing us to share this work, which is well deserving of public recognition.
Each Year 13 sculpture student produces 3D work based around an individual proposal (process of inquiry) and during the year students will produce between 12 – 15 works, which are displayed in a photographic format on a 3 panel folio, making up the external Achievement Standard which is sent the Wellington in early November.
